ISO 14001 Certificate

ISO 14001 is an international standard for environmental management that helps organizations improve their environmental performance and demonstrate their commitment to effective environmental stewardship. An environmental management system provides a systematic approach to enhancing environmental management and the effectiveness of environmental protection measures.

Our ISO 14001:2015 certification is a testament to Transmeri Logistics’ commitment to identifying and monitoring the environmental impact of our products, operations, and services, as well as continuously improving our environmental responsibility. Through our environmental management system, we have also succeeded in increasing cost-efficiency by optimizing the use of raw materials and energy and by reducing waste.

ISO 14001 environmental management system certificates are issued by certification bodies, many of which are accredited. In Finland, FINAS accredits and verifies the competence of certification companies; a list of these can be found on the FINAS website (see system certification). Transmeri Logistics’ most recent certification was conducted by the accredited body, Inspecta Sertifiointi Oy.

ISO 22716 Certificate

ISO 22716 provides guidelines for organizations on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in the production, control, storage, and shipment of cosmetic products, thereby ensuring high product quality. Our ISO 22716:2007 certification covers the development, design, manufacturing, and packaging of products, as well as logistics and procurement processes. It serves as a testament to our operations’ adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has defined how its standards contribute to achieving the UN Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. ISO has stated that the ISO 22716:2007 certification promotes the realization of Goal 3 – Good Health and Well-being and Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth. ISO 9001 is an international standard for quality management that helps organizations ensure consistent quality and continuously improve their products and services. The standard is based on a set of quality management principles, including a strong customer focus, process-oriented methods, and continuous improvement. With our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, we ensure that our customers receive consistently high-quality products that are a pleasure to use.

Ecocert COSMOS Certificate

The primary objectives of the COSMOS standard include promoting the use of materials that are eco-friendly, safe, natural, and as organic as possible. It covers all aspects related to the sourcing, manufacturing, marketing, and control of cosmetic products.

We have chosen Ecocert as our partner to support us and to inspect—at least once a year—every aspect of our COSMOS-certified organic or natural products as follows:

• Origin and Processing of Raw Materials: Monitoring, for example, physically or chemically processed ingredients.
• Organic or Natural Content: Verifying the organic or natural content of all raw materials, including audits of the respective calculations provided by all suppliers.
• Purity and Traceability: Ensuring sufficient purity and traceability throughout the entire process and verifying that the packaging is eco-friendly.
• Environmental Management: Overseeing manufacturing and recycling processes.
• Labeling and Communication: Ensuring that all communication is comprehensive and transparent to avoid misleading marketing claims.

The e-mark for Prepackaged Products

The e-mark for prepackaged products makes it easier and more efficient for a company to demonstrate responsibility and quality, while facilitating the export of products to other EU member states.

As the name suggests, a prepackaged product is packed for the customer without the customer being present during the packaging process. These packages are marked with the quantity of the contents, which cannot be altered without opening or damaging the package.

The majority of our packaging lines utilize procedures that ensure the manufactured packages meet the requirements of the Decree of the Ministry of Trade and Industry (179/2000) regarding prepackaged products.
